Cheyenne's School Essay

Cheyenne wrote an essay for the county-wide writing contest.  The judges must have been dropped on their heads as babies, because she didn't win, but here's her essay!

"My Grama and Me"
A special person in my life is my Grama .  She is a fantastic sewer.  I allways get a dress from her.  My Grama is also vary delightful when she plays with me.  I also love to play games with Grama.  My Grama is so special because she is the most beautiful in the world.  My Grama also can not pick me up because I am too heavy.  I love my Grama!

Evan didn't get home from work last night until 8:45 p.m., so the kids are enjoying their Saturday with Daddy!  He is cleaning out his trailer while they ride their bikes and draw on the driveway with chalk.  Elliott has to stop every few seconds to check the sky again and verify that it is NOT thunderstorming, in which case he would have to run into the house in a blind panic and beg me to shut every window in the house.  Cheyenne has set up her maple syrup stand again.  I hate when the kids try to sell something, because my heart aches for them every time someone drives by and doesn't stop.  Too much pressure!  Lincoln is napping, and I am about to start a cooking marathon.  A quiet-ish Saturday at home is a precious thing!

You've got one sweet little girl there! While I'm at it, I might add that your whole family is pretty darn sweet!
